A survey by Shorr Packaging found that 24% of online shoppers surveyed had been victims of package theft this year.
The rise of package theft has led people to take measures to prevent losing a purchase right on their doorstep. The survey also found that over half (52%) of victims have taken measures to prevent package theft, including purchasing video doorbells or scheduling deliveries.

Shorr Packaging found that 58% of respondents who had already experienced package theft plan on changing their online purchasing habits around the holidays.
