Blue Devils Battalion March On

Cadet Private First Class Greenleigh Stubbs, HCHS JROTC Public Affairs Officer

On Friday, October 9, 2020 the Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) of Holmes County High School marched in the Homecoming Parade for the SY 2020-21. The Blue Devils Battalion led the parade with a Color Guard, Honor Guard, and a Battalion full of highly motivated Cadets full of school spirit and Esprit-de-Corps.

Commanding the Color Guard team was Cadet Private First Class Loreili Sinard while carrying our nation's colors. Other members of the Color Guard team include: Cadet Private First Class Cierra Smith carrying our state's colors, Cadet Private First Class Emma Schild carrying right riffle, and Cadet Private First Class Autumn Poulson carrying left riffle. Each member of the Color Guard member marched to the K8 School for the homecoming week. As well as having a Color Guard team, JROTC had an Honor Guard team. Cadet Corporal Caleb Weiler commanded the Honor Guard with enthusiasm. The Honor Guard team consisted of Cadet Private First Class Maliek Davis, Cadet Private First Class Anthony Davis, Cadet Private First Class Nicholas Stepp, Cadet Private First Class Cassie Ivey, Cadet Corporal Caleb Weiler, Cadet Private First Class Bailey Eldridge, Cadet Corporal Ethan Forehand, Cadet Private First Class Tristan Mason, and Cadet Private Shaylin Mays.
