SEARCH WARRANT RESULTS IN TWO ARRESTS
HOLMES COUNTY - Despite the heavy flooding the county has experienced the past two days, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office have still been going about the business of the county in addition to dealing with emergencies brought about by the flooding situation.
Deputies served a search warrant Wednesday, September 16, at a local motel in reference to narcotics being sold from a room rented to 46-year-old Tina Marie Pierce and 56-year-old Lester Brown.
Upon entering the motel room, Brown was detained, and Pierce was observed walking out of the bathroom, having attempted to dispose of drugs.
Inside the bathroom, deputies located a methamphetamine bong that contained both methamphetamine oil and another methamphetamine substance caked inside.
Pierce had flushed majority of the drugs down the toilet destroying evidence.
Deputies also located a plastic container with methamphetamine on it and other associated paraphernalia used to sale meth.
Brown is charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Pierce is charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with/destroying evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
