Washington County Schools close as a precaution for Hurricane Sally

WASHINGTON COUNTY-  Washington County schools  have announced they will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, 2020. 

All students and personnel will be home, the district said. A decision regarding Thursday will be made pending weather conditions and updates.

Washington County is the most recent district closing following Holmes County's decision to close earlier today.  Yesterday Bay, Gulf, Franklin, Walton, Okaloosa, and Santa Rosa Counties all closed in anticipation for the storm.
