Lets Talk: Part 4 "God never expected us to get here"

Valery McAllister-Lawton

Apostle Woods goes says “God never expected us to get here, I am not saying God did not know we would get here, He did not expect it, because He expected that once He saved us and gave us the Word of Truth, that we would take hold of that Word of Truth. One Nation Under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all...and the whole time it really was not true. It was a lie from the start. And now, we as people of color have become so emotionally tied to the lie, that when we go to sit down at the table, we automatically accept what we are told, and many questions we don't even ask. That is why so many of us are manipulated in businesses, because of that same lie, and now you just trust, that they are going to look out for my good, or they have my best interest at heart, but no, if you would just mount up with wings of an eagle, and ask those very hard questions, such as, prove that to me? where is that law written at”. Well if that is true how do I know it is true, rather than being so trusting”.

Apostle Woods and I talked about the Church's role, or whether the Church even has a role in repairing the breach because of racism and division; and in response to this, he replied, “The church is the number one game changer. Only the church of Jesus Christ can change the game. Many times, all you hear is that scripture in 1 Chronicle that says, if my people who are called by name, just stop quoting that scripture. I don’t want another conference on that scripture. How many times do you have to hear this, when God says, He will heal the whole land, if his people that are called, chosen, and ordained, would be what He needs them to be. The church is a major player. In the Word of God that speaks about, that in last days there shall be a great falling away of the faith and some shall depart from the faith (2 Thessalonians 2:1-3), but as long as you and me and people that are believers in Christ are standing on the wall, pleading the Blood of Jesus, and holding firm our affirmation of Faith, living spirit filled lives, and doing the work of Jesus Christ, the Antichrist cannot come.  The only way the Antichrist can come and take over our land is, if My people who are called by My Name quit humbling themselves, quit praying, quit seeking my face, quit turning from their wicked ways, which means they are not growing anymore, then I will not heal the land.

I cannot heal the land, because those who should be speaking over the land are backing up, becoming worldly, have lost their zeal, gone asleep, drunk on wealth and popularity while the things of God are being left, that is the falling away, giving head to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (I Timothy 4:1) because the enemy knows, and it is so prevalent in scripture, that the only way that the enemy can get in, even in the time of Nehemiah is that the people had to stop building the wall. It did not matter the threats, which is why Nehemiah had to say, I am doing a great work, I will not come down (Nehemiah 6:3). He understood that as long as I don't come down, I don’t care how you threaten me, I don't care how you come together in your collaborations against me, I don't care how your three armies come against me, you still won't prevail, as long as I am in the will of God.  Because if am in the will of God, I will stay on the wall, and if I stay on the wall I am a part of the Kingdom, and if I am a part of the kingdom, I have a King, and if I have a king, I am His child, if I am His child, the host of Heaven fights for me.  And then like Elisha said to his servant, Oh Lord open his eyes, so that he can see the fiery chariots in the mountains (2 Kings 6:17).

When the church stops praying, we can no longer see the fiery chariots in the mountains; we start picking up alms, and becoming our own deliverers; we stop defending and we start attacking, and unfortunately, we in most times, in all races do more harm to our own people, than we do to our person. The church is a crucial part. We rule by prayer. Every promise that God has fulfilled from Genesis to Revelation is because someone prayed, but if you stop me from praying, then, there is the breach.  If you stop me from upholding righteousness, then in that, is the breach, but if we go back between the porch and the altar (Joel 2:17), we are that bridge. Jesus was that bridge that connected us back to the Father. He said on one occasion, I now have given to you the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:11-21). So, as He was, we are in the world. We are the bridge to whatever change is going to be positive. Man, by his very nature left to himself will destroy himself.  But the church is the number one game player.  Everyone in politics has a religious faith affiliation. It is required, it’s a part of their ticket, so there has never really been a separation between church and state. They try to do it legally, by not giving the church money, or not make God who is; but when they take office they bring their religion with them, and if they are a truly a believer in God, it shows in what they say and do, and if they are not it shows in what they say or do”.
