The H.L. Bourgeois softball team picked up a 13-6 victory over Chapelle on Friday at the Hahnville Tournament in Boutte.

The Lady Braves improved to 2-6 overall and Chapelle fell to 1-6 overall.

Leah Authement had a three-run home run for the Lady Braves, Makaia Henry had a two-run home run and Kameron Davis had three doubles. 

Caitlyn Bueche got the win in the circle for the Lady Braves.

At New Orleans, the Terrebonne High softball team improved to 7-2 overall after beating Higgins 8-5 and beating John Ehert 14-4 on Friday.

Against Ehert, Bree Aguillard was 4-for-4 with an RBI, Dru Neil was 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, Kaylin Billiot was 2-for-4 with an RBI, Hailey Scott was 2-for-4 and Haley Weeks had three RBIs.
