PANAMA CITY — The Panama City Police Department has arrested two men for allegedly robbing a home.
According to a PCPD press release, Adriane Joseph Melanson and Bryce Markell Shazier were arrested for home invasion robbery.
According to the release, the PCPD responded to 1018 Spring Ave. in Panama City on Saturday in reference to a discharged weapon. Officers made contact with the residents of the home and found multiple projectile strikes to the exterior and interior of the home.
Officer learned that a white male had exited a dark passenger vehicle and entered the home, where he displayed a firearm and attempted to take property from the residents inside. He then fired multiple rounds inside and outside the residence and fled from the area in the dark passenger vehicle, the release stated.
After an investigation, the white male was allegedly identified as Melanson and that the black vehicle was allegedly owned and driven by Shazier. Both were later located and placed under arrest.
Melanson was charged with home invasion robbery, shooting into an occupied dwelling, aggravated assault, carrying a concealed firearm, and felony criminal mischief.
Shazier was charged with principal to the home invasion robbery, shooting into an occupied dwelling, aggravated assault, and criminal mischief.
