Several people were injured in a multi-car wreck that happened in Calhoun County on Saturday afternoon, lawmen say.
The wreck involved four vehicles and took place on State Road 20 east of Mason Road.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 1993 Ford Ranger being driven by a 31-year-old Hosford man was heading east on SR 20 when the driver failed to stop for traffic ahead of him.
The Ranger rear-ended a 2008 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 21-year-old Deltona woman, which then rear-ended a 2013 Ford E-150 being driven by a 39-year-old Blountstown man.
Meanwhile, the Ranger veered into the path of an oncoming 2015 Toyota Highlander driven by a 37-year-old Tallahassee woman and the two vehicles collided head-on.
The driver of the Ranger suffered serious injuries, as did the drivers of the Hyundai and the Highlander. Two passengers in the Hyundai received only minor injuries. The driver of the E-150 was not injured.
No charges were listed on the accident report.
