WASHINGTON COUNTY - The attack that rocked the nation 18 years ago has proven to be the unifier for years to come. On Wednesday, Sept. 11, the anniversay of the Twin Towers attacks, Washington County schools Chipley High and Vernon High/Middle held moments of solace in rememberance of the more than 3,000 lives lost from the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

“No Day Shall Erase You From the Memory of Time.” To commemorate September 11, 2001, Chipley High had a ceremony at the flag pole . The ceremony was led by JROTC.
