The event will be held Sept. 13-14.
CHIPLEY - Hundreds of vendors will soon descend on Highway 90 to sell their hidden treasures at Florida's longest yard sale.
Flea Across Florida takes place Friday and Saturday, Sept. 13-14. Vendors will set up all along the highway from Pensacola to Jacksonville.
The parking lot at T&B Hidden Treasures, owned by Bill and Sunny Tinsley, will be a local hotspot along the route.
According to Bill Tinsley, the event drew about 4,000 people from throughout the tri-county area when it was held in April. He expects the crowd to be the same for the fall event.
Shoppers will have a range of items to peruse, from household appliances and yard decor to antiques and various equipments. Vendors can also have their sale site listed on the event's Facebook page for free by messaging the official Flea Across Florida page or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
"There will be several food vendors available onsite or you can patronize one of our wonderful downtown restaurants or deli’s while shopping," notes a Washington County Chamber of Commerce news release. "Don’t forget to also check out the boutiques and other specialty shops in downtown while you are there."
