Holy Family ministry: The Notre Dame du Lac Grotto Buy a Brick Program is an ongoing project that will provide for completion, maintenance and improvement to the grotto. If interested in purchasing a brick in honor of a loved one, you can call the church office at 563-2325. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

St. Vincent de Paul Tri-Parish Community Pharmacy: The pharmacy is in need of volunteer pharmacists and pharmacy techs. The volunteer commitment is generally one morning every four to six weeks. The pharmacy is in operation 9-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the pharmacy at 872-2253.

Bake sale for Thanksgiving baskets: The weekend of Aug. 11-12, there will be a bake sale after each Mass. The proceeds will go toward purchasing Thanksgiving baskets of food for people in need. Donations will also be accepted in any amount you would like to give.

Annunziata: The St. Vincent de Paul Society is asking for donations of non-perishable food and toiletries for the pantry.

2018 Annual Bishop’s Appeal: If you have yet to make your commitment and would still like to do so, there is still time as you can return your commitment card in the offertory, or simply mail it to the diocese in the provided envelope, or visit htdiocese.org/bishopsappeal to make your gift online. Holy Family’s goal is $9,900. Please help us to meet this goal.

Safe Environment: It’s time to retake the Safe Environment certification course. This course must be taken before the end of July. It will not be offered in-house. Please go online to take your test. Contact Lisa in the office for instructions or assistance. For new certification, you must see Lisa first to fill out initial paperwork before you go online.

Family Fun Day: It will be held after the 11 a.m. Mass Sunday. Come out with your family to enjoy food, fun, games and fellowship. Face painting will be among the fun things for children.

CCD: CCD classes begin on Sunday for first through sixth grade, 9:50-10:55 a.m. Drop off and pick up at the church cafeteria. Seventh through ninth grade will be held 6-8:15 p.m. Drop off and pick up in front of church.

Parent Orientation:An orientation for all parents will be held in the church cafeteria at 10 a.m. Sunday. You will receive the new handbook, go over the calendar and new newsletter and meet your new director of religious education, Heather Padgett Anderson.

RCIA: Deacon Harold Fanguy will have a callout for his RCIA adult religion classes at 6 p.m. Monday at Holy Family Church. If you are interested in becoming a Catholic, you can be part of our RCIA program. If you are 21 years old and were baptized Catholic and have not received the sacraments of First Eucharist or confirmation, you are invited to participate in our class.
