Post 34 Alumni Game: Tuscaloosa Post 34 baseball will host its annual alumni game on Wednesday, June 20, at the Tuscaloosa Academy baseball field. UWA SHOWCASE: The 2018 University of West Alabama Unsigned Seniors and Junior College Showcase is June 17 at Tartt Field on the UWA campus. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. Showcase begins at 2 p.m. The cost for any unsigned 2018 baseball prospects to participate in the Showcase is $50. Participants must fill out a waiver form. Registration can be done online or the day of the event. Participants must bring their equipment with them and be dressed in baseball practice gear.
American Baseball Camps: Stillman College will host two sessions. The first is June 25-28, and the second is July 30-Aug. 2. The camp is for ages 5-12. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $249.99 per session and includes camp T-shirt, lunch and snacks, prizes, and video analysis in addition to instruction and coaching. Erwin Dudley's Camp of Champions: Professional basketball player and All-American and All-SEC former University of Alabama basketball player Erwin Dudley is hosting the free camp, for boys and girls, ages 9-17, in Uniontown for the 12th year. Up Down League: The Tuscaloosa Tennis Association and Crimson Community Wheelchair Tennis are combining to form an Up Down League, starting June 20. Able-bodied players (Up) partner with a wheelchair player (Down). The league runs for six weeks. Play is on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. at the University of Alabama Recreation Center Courts. Net Generation Play Days: Kids, ages 5-14, of all levels of tennis experience, including beginner, are invited to participate in Net Generation Play Days, with the first held June 23 from 9 a.m.–10:30 a.m. at Center Court Tuscaloosa. Other dates are July 21, Aug. 18 and Sept. 15. Cost is $5 per child, however, scholarships are available to pay the fee for those who apply and qualify.
