My daughter is a senior at Bethlehem High School and a cheerleader. As a parent I attend school basketball games to watch my daughter and support her school. I'm very upset at the way the tickets to the championship games were given out.

I called Mr. (Brent) Jones, the principal of Bethlehem.

I told him my concerns and that I was going to the School Board and newspaper. His response was 'knock yourself out.' As a principal, he is supposed to have more morals dealing with our children. If, as a parent, he talked to me with this disrespect - I imagine his attitude with the children. Mr. Jones also told me the basketball players got tickets for their families because they are the reason we are here.

Cheerleading is a sport the same as any other. To exclude them just is not right. This is my opinion as a parent.
