CHIPLEY – A man was arrested after he attempted to lead deputies on a foot chase.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were serving a felony drug warrant at a residence located in Chipley on January 4.
Deputies responded to a residence on Waller Road around 2:30 p.m. after receiving information that a male subject with an active felony drug warrant was spotted in the area.
Timothy Taylor, 53, attempted to flee from the back door of the residence as deputies made contact with the home’s occupants.
A short foot chase ensued and Taylor was apprehended with no further incidents.
Taylor was arrested and charged with resisting an officer without violence along with the outstanding felony drug charge.
