BONIFAY - A Bonifay man is facing multiple felony charges following the execution of a search warrant by the Holmes County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators executed the warrant Nov. 8 at a camper residence located at 2231 Long Round Bay Road in Bonifay - known as the residence of Johnnie Lumpkin - in reference to methamphetamine being distributed.
Upon entry being made into the camper, Lumpkin was detained, and a search of his person revealed methamphetamine packaged to sell.
According to reports, a search of the camper was conducted, in which investigators located several pipes used to smoke methamphetamine, along with a .22 cal rifle that had the barrel cut off and the serial number altered.
Lumpkin was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of short barrel rifle, altering a serial number on firearm, and possession of narcotic equipment.
