Monthly the Holmes County High School’s JROTC program chooses a superior cadet who shows academic determination and leadership skills to wear the title of “Cadet of the Month.” 

For the month of March 2016 Holmes County High School’s JROTC chose Cadet Sergeant Paul Johnson.  Cadet Johnson is in fourth platoon, has a 4.0 GPA, and is on the A/B Honor Roll. Johnson is on the Holmes County High School JROTC‘s Junior Varsity Rifle team. His favorite teachers are First Sergeant Burlew and Lieutenant Colonel Cole and his favorite class is JROTC.

Johnson’s future aspirations for high school and beyond are graduating with honors and receiving a scholarship through Florida State University.  He wants to become an officer in the U.S Navy and after retiring from the military, he hopes to become a JROTC instructor. Johnson received a Cadet of the Month scroll to display on his uniform and a $25 gift card.
