The Rebecca Kilgore Trio will play a variety of jazz standards and new compositions at the Jazz Station on Saturday, aiming to “swing and have fun” at the nexus for Eugene’s jazz artists.
Jazz vocalist Kilgore, a member of both the Oregon Music Hall of Fame and the Jazz Society of Oregon’s Hall of Fame since 2010, is known throughout the nationwide jazz festival circuit for her unique vocal styling of jazz standards. Grammy-nominated pianist Randy Porter and bassist Tom Wakeling fill out her trio.
The all-ages show will run from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Jazz Station, 124 W. Broadway. Tickets are $15 (thejazzstation.org).
