Authorities had been searching for 32-year-old Jeremy Cole Windsor of Bonifay when Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a tip on where Windsor, who also had an active warrant in Holmes County, was hiding out. WCSO arrived at 3093 Pate Pond Road to serve warrants to Windsor and found more than the fugitive.

While arresting Windsor, deputies saw methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia sitting out in plain sight in the living room. Deputies obtained a search warrant for the rest of the home and returned to collect methamphetamine from multiple locations.

Deputies found synthetic marijuana, a glass pipe with methamphetamine reside inside, a box of Sudafed pills and baggies during a search of the home.

Two other occupants in the home were also arrested. Justin Edward Brown, 27, of Caryville and Kayla Leann Wasson, 29, of Chipley were arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and for harboring/aiding escape. Windsor, Brown and Wasson were transported to Washington County Jail.

Sheriff Bobby Haddock asks anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity to contact WCSO at 850-638-TIPS (8477) or tips@wcso.us.
