BONIFAY ó The 2015 Panhandle Patriotic Celebration drew thousands to the Bonifay Recreation Center Sunday night to celebrate faith and freedom in the festivalís twelfth year.


BONIFAY ó The 2015 Panhandle Patriotic Celebration drew thousands to the Bonifay Recreation Center Sunday night to celebrate faith and freedom in the festivalís twelfth year.



This yearís attendance topped out at around 3,000, while last yearís fest saw about 5,000 people.



The Holmes County Ministerial Association organized a mass event sponsored bytwo dozen churches, 22 local businesses and other organizations.



Festival goers enjoyed live gospel and country music performances while milling around to sample food offered by vendors. Other booths offered Christian literature and games for children.



The night ended with a large fireworks display to leave the county in the spirit for upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
