An accident on I-10 left traffic on Highways 79 and 90 backed up when the Florida Highway Patrol rerouted interstate traffic through Bonifay Tuesday morning.
BONIFAY — After two semis collided on Interstate 10 between Bonifay and Caryville this morning, traffic was detoured through Bonifay, causing temporary congestion.
According the Florida Department of Transportation, two semis collided westbound on I-10, one of which was carrying alcoholic beverages and spilt the entirety of its contents including over 150 gallons of fuel.
None were reported injured.
An environmental protection agency is making efforts to clean the spilled fuel.
