Seniors Jeremy McGowan and Jomar Concepcion were leaders on the floor and in scoring, with McGowan leading all scorers with 23 points and Concepcion scoring 11.
The Devils opened with a 20-15 first quarter and led 37-27 at the half as Walker scored 13 and McGowan 10. The Devils began easing away in the third period as Coach Po White was able to get his young bench playing time.
“We’re a young team,” White noted, with just two seniors on the squad. South Walton came back to 53-44 going into the fourth quarter but the Devils took charge once again and won going away.
“White was pleased with his frontcourt, but saw room for improvement elsewhere. “We need more out of our guard play and need to play better defense,” he said.
Dylan Smith led the Seahawks with 21 points and Shane Seeger scored 14.
