Arnold's Schultz named all-state in softball

Arnold junior infielder Cortnie Schultz was a first-teamer on the Class 4A all-state softball list, determined by MiracleSports, an independent organization not affiliated with the Florida Sports Writers Association.

Schultz originally was listed as a member of the Class 1A team, and the error was reported to Dana Mullen, a representative of MiracleSports.

The Class 4A teams released to media outlets in late May did not include Schultz, but later a correction on the Internet was made and she was added to the list. The complete, final lists may be viewed at www.eteamz.com/floridastaterankings
