Freedom Classic rosters to be announced on Saturday

The rosters for the sixth annual Freedom All-Star Classic basketball showcase will be released on PanhandleVarsity.com on Saturday. Stories on the selections also will appear in the print edition of The News Herald and area weekly publications.

The top players from the East and West, as selected by the sports departments of the News Herald and the Northwest Florida Daily News, will be chosen for the games. The sixth annual event takes place April 3 at the Billy Harrison Field House on the campus of Gulf Coast Community College. The girls game is at 11 a.m. and the boys at 1 p.m.
