Trexler named to NCAA All-Academic team

Former Mosley athlete Elise Trexler recently was named to the women’s 2010 Division I All-Academic Track and Field team announced by U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Trexler, a high jumper who competes for the University of North Florida, ranked as high as 22nd in the East Region with a height of 1.78m, topping the Atlantic Sun Conference and garnering A-Sun First Team All-Conference honors. Trexler jumped her personal best height at the FSU Seminole Invite in April.

A record total of 551 student-athletes representing 150 institutions comprise the group. Nebraska led all schools for the second straight year with 18 honorees while BYU was next in the order with 15 on the list.
