Bethlehem Varsity basketball teams win at Homecoming 52-33; 59-45

BETHLEHEM — Many celebrated the Bethlehem High School Homecoming, especially when they defeated their opponents during their Homecoming Game on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The Lady Wild Cats Varsity defeated the Vernon Lady Yellow Jacket Varsity 52-33.

The Lady Wild Cats began the game evenly matched with the Lady Yellow Jackets, meeting each other score for score. Towards the end of the first period the Lady Wild Cats picked up the pace, ending the first period with a score of 14-8.

The Lady Wild cats began to gain momentum and continued that way until the last period was over and victory was given to The Lady Wild Cats with a score of 52-33.

Donald Dady was honored for his 36 years of service as a teacher, coach and Vice Principal of Bethlehem High School.

Fans showed up by the masses to support the Wild Cats as they defeated the Central Jaguars 59-45.

The Jaguars started the game off with a show of force and the Wild Cats responded with retaliation, scoring neck and neck ending the first period with a score of 9-11.
