LYNN HAVEN — Mosley missed a free throw at the end of regulation that would have sealed a win and Rutherford gained an 85-82 overtime victory in a prep boys basketball game on Monday.

Jon Wade scored 38 points to pace Rutherford, which didn’t have a 3-pointer in the game, while Mosley hit 13 3s. Wade was 8 for 10 from the free-throw line in overtime. Kiki Williamson scored 22 points and Khalil Spearman 10 for Rutherford, which rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit.

Kurt Barger scored 24 points, Nat Dixon 23, including five 3-pointers, Beau Ruppel 13 and Christian Cornett 11 for the Dolphins (11-12), who are at Holmes County tonight.

Rutherford won the JV game 68-64. Jonathan Doolan scored 23, Jacob Harrison 15 and Cody Harris 13 for Mosley’s JV. Uvarius Hewitt scored 12, Brandon Parlar 12 and Josh Wade each scored 12 and Gabe Steele 11 for Rutherford.

Walton 66, Arnold 60

PANAMA CITY BEACH — Rob Davison scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double effort. Bevon Stewart scored 15 points and Doug Lott 11 for the Marlins (6-17), who host South Walton today.

Arnold won the JV game 54-51. Ryan Thomas scored 21 and Kyle Funk 11 for the Marlins’ JV (7-11).

Poplar Springs 66, Altha 57

ALTHA — Josh Croxton scored 20 points to lead Poplar Springs to the victory. Will Rogers scored 24 points, Kent Rogers 14 and P.J. Iler 11 for Altha (7-11), which is at Quincy Munroe tonight.
