HC Fishing Derby winners announced

Here are some stats for the 4th Annual 4-H Fishing Derby held this past Saturday, April 19, 2008.

A total of 75 youth participated at this year’s event, not bad considering the bad weather that morning. We measured in length due to some of the fingerling sizes.

In Session I, the following won:

Most Fish Caught – Hunter Almondi with 15 fish

5th Biggest Fish – Allan Hogans, 30.5 cm

4th Biggest Fish – Dollie Rabon, 32.5 cm

3rd Biggest Fish – Shayla Storey, 33 cm

2nd Biggest Fish – Daniel Floyd, 34 cm

Biggest Fish - Kylie Looney, 35.5 cm


In Session II, the following won:

Most Fish Caught – Tanner Mims with 30 fish

5th Biggest Fish – Justin Lee, 34 cm

4th Biggest Fish – Zachary Cowart , 34.5 cm

3rd Biggest Fish – Destiny Murry, 37 cm

2nd Biggest Fish – Karis Murley-Schiller, BASS Fish 41 cm

Biggest Fish - Preston Hogans 62 cm
