Boys b-ball: Emmanuel defeats Covenant

Emmanuel 60, Covenant 56: PANAMA CITY — Covenant’s Kristo Kleimeyer scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a loss to Emmanuel on Thursday.

Ben Dobernig added 11 points and nine rebounds for Lions (5-7, 1-1) while Parker Sheffield had 11 points.

Covenant won the junior varisty game 52-34. Matt Granville had 23 points, Stephen Carr 11 and Jonathan Holmes 10. The Covenant JV is 3-5, 2-0.
