COTTONDALE — Hannah Pippin had 20 points, eight rebounds and four assists in the losing effort, while Jenna Belser scored 15 and had 11 rebounds for the Blue Devils. Jakiah Grimsley led Cottondale with 23 points and Kiki Paul added 15 points for the Hornets.

The Lady Hornets lost 51-34 in the season opener in Bonifay.
