Bay wins FHSAA sectional sportsmanship award

GAINESVILLE - Bay High School was one of four Class 3A winners of the Florida High School Athletic Association/Fred E. Rozelle Sportsmanship Award. Bay received the Section 1 award. Section 3 winner Lakeland Tenoroc was the overall Class 3A winner.

Bay will receive $500 and a plaque and will be recognized during a fall event for its exemplary sportsmanship showed during the 2009-10 school year. Twenty-five middle and high schools won sectional honors, with seven overall winners set to receive an additional $2,500.
