FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. — The Southside girls Saturday competed in the High School Bowling National Championship.

The Panthers finished as the 25th-best team in the nation. Southside earned a spot in the event by winning the state championship in girls bowling this past season. It was the program’s second consecutive state crown.

Sunday, the Panther girls competed in the individual tournament.

Team members include Jakiia Mostella, Ashlee Hull, Grace Ann Clontz, Jennifer Clontz, Jessica Clontz and Rose Losco. The team is coached by Zack Blue and assistant David Clontz.
