The Oregon men's basketball team picked up its first 2019 recruit, and Francis Okoro could arrive at Matthew Knight Arena even sooner.
The 6-foot-9, 225-pound Okoro is a four-star recruit from Normal, Ill., who committed to the Ducks on Monday night. Okoro, who visited Oregon in April, picked the Ducks over Illinois and Purdue.
Okoro could reclassify to the Class of 2018 and join the Ducks for next season. Oregon has nine players on scholarship for next year with four openings available.
Okoro is ranked as the No. 40 player in the Class of 2019 and the No. 12 center by 247Sports.com.
