HERMISTON — Northwest Christian's Bailey Dell uncorked another NAIA-leading throw to capture her third straight Cascade Collegiate Conference javelin title Saturday.

Dell, who was the Big East champ as a freshman at DePaul, finished with a personal-best toss of 162-feet, 10 inches at the CCC track and field championship meet.

Hannah Eddens of Springfield also locked up a victory for the Beacons, winning the triple jump with a leap of 35-10¾. Myah Harter (discus) and Cassandra Brownell (800 meters) each had third-place finishes as the NCU women placed sixth with 84 points. College of Idaho finished first with 196½.

On the men's side, Garrett Kraal finished third in the 5,000 to set a school record with his eighth all-CCC honor in track and cross country. Also finishing third were Aaron Hackney in the javelin and Matthew Jones in the 200. The men also placed sixth with 70 points as Eastern Oregon took the CCC title with 208 points.
