Info sought on State 77 hit-and-run

On Thursday, October 9, 2008 Washington County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene of a reported hit and run.  The victim, a 44 year old white male, reported that at approximately 8:20 p.m. while riding his bike along Highway 77 north of Chipley, someone screamed obscenities at him and hit him with their vehicle’s car door.  EMS transferred the victim to Air Heart where he was transported via helicopter to Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL.  The victim is currently in stable condition and expected to be released from the hospital within the next couple days.  The victim was unable to give a description of the subjects or vehicle that hit him.
