More meth busts by Washington County DTF
The Washington County Drug Task Force consisting of the Chipley Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the discovery and destruction of two more meth labs in Washington County and the arrest of four people in a news release.
The first lab was located at the intersection of Gilberts Mill Road and Kent Mill Pond Road. The lab was dismantled and arrests are forthcoming.
The same day, a search of a residence on 722 Peacock Circle resulted in three meth-related arrests after Drug Task Force investigators and K-9 deputies located methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia. During this investigation, two subjects attempted to destroy evidence after investigators entered the home.
Arrested were:
•Brian Patrick Rich, 26 of Silver Lake Road in Fountain: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
•Willie Gene Sawyer II, 44, of Panama City: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 meth pipes), Tampering with Evidence
•Edna Mae Roberts, 32, of Youngstown: Possession of Methamphetamines, Tampering with Evidence
Later the same day, Drug Task Force investigators searched a residence at 5489B North Blue Springs Road in Washington County and discovered a meth lab in the owner’s shed located in the backyard.
Arrested was David Shawn Sirk, 39, of Youngstown: Manufacturing of Methamphetamines, Possession of Controlled Substance (Meth), Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
