Search warrant leads to arrest for child porn

BONIFAY - A search warrant executed at a residence on Tracy Street in Bonifay turned up child pornography.
According to the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) press release the department along with Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Bonifay Police Department and Bay County Sheriff’s Office participated in the investigation and search of the premises.
Forensic investigators from FDLE examined computer hardware and media storage devices. Approximately 50-60 photos and anadditional 50-60 videos depicting a sexual performance of a child were found.
Jason A. Van Avery, w/m, 21, was arrested and charged with promotion of the sexual performance of a child and possession of child pornography.
Additional charges are pending further forensic examination of the media storage devices. Van Avery was on state probation for drug offenses earlier this year.
Sheriff Dennis Lee said, “Information sharing among law enforcement agencies is what led to an arrest in this case.”

| holmes county cops are so messed up even back when i lived there you could be driving down the road and be pulled over and the cop make passes at you and then threaten to arrest you if you didn't do what they wanted , i've got more friends in bonifay and almost all of em have had problems with bonifay police half of em are drug dealers them selves and if you ask me i'd be firing some cops and bringing in some that don't have a nack for drug abuse in there past, holmes county is only good for one thing anymore and thats a landfill , holmes county is filled with so much that ppl move to get away from croaked cops and drugs and filth and not to mention the ppl that hate on gays and refuse to rent places to em solely based on there sexuality which in the 20th cententry is against federal law but what rights does anyone have to put down jason sure some ppl make mistakes in life and some make wrong dicesstions but good greif thats life and all this man is tring to do is make a living and the cops are bugging him non stop about stuff holmes county cops need to get out there and do their jobs and get the drugs off the streets not keep putting more out there and killing the youth of america to jason and his family be strong |

| I'm not saying that this guy is guilty or not guilty. The only 3 that know for sure is him the victim and the lord. What I do know is Joe Sallas falsified training records, and that in my eyes makes him a liar. There is a lot of corruption in the law enforcement as well as the judicial system in Holmes County. I know first hand. I'm not a druggie nor a drun. |

| Hmm ? Did i say anything about Joe Sallas ? No , Not Neccessarily ! Got a guilty conscience ? Jason is not a child predator , pedophile , or what ever you'd like to say . He has been with his wife for over 6 years . They married young , but they have stayed together and raised 3 little girls ! You need to get your facts straight , buddy ! |

| i known joe all his life and hes not crooked you are all druggies and trying to hurt a good man we all know hes guilty i called him and he told me personally whats going on down there theres not a good moon in the bunch they have been a bad seed since the day they were conceived they sell drugs and pretty soon more aresst are coming there is more than one investigtion going on and pretty soon youll see who is going to jail |

| something similar happen to my old man is because hes in prison for twenty five with out parole well one of his friends used his computer and the results waS THE SAME HE WAS INNOCENT but the problem was he still had possesion of the materials in question its like buying a hot bike and not knowing it you didnt know but you still had it in your possion what really got us was we had some run in with the law a couple of times and pissed them off we thought we were smart at the time but in the long run hes in prison and he had possion if only we wernt so rude before we probly have a life together now im with some one else who is kind but i miss him so much now i must get on with my life hes been there for five yrs and has twenty yrs more no matter what when he gets out he will have to regester as a child molester never get his kids back or respect his life is ruined guilty or not hope for the best but dont except much |
