Faling Waters Multi-Use Trail Open

CHIPLEY – Washington County Board of County Commissioners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday at 11:30 a.m. for the grand opening of the Falling Waters multi-use trail. An enhancement grant through the Department of Transportation makes the trail possible.

The ceremony was held at the corner of Brickyard and Falling Waters Road. The trail itself starts on the corner of State 77 and Brickyard Road, going east to Falling Waters Road where it turns south to State Park Road and westward to State 77.

The trail measures over four miles long. The multi-use trail is a scenic path for any jogger, walker or biker to use safely
