Honor service planned for 9/11 at Red Hill UMC

Red Hill UMC on State Road 2, two miles west of SR 79 in Holmes County and Woodmen of the World, Lodge 65 is planning an In Honor and Remembrance ceremony to honor the memory of victims and heroes of 9/11. The ceremony will be held Saturday, September 11, at 6:00 p.m.  This ceremony will also acknowledge the contribution of local heroes - police officers, fire fighters and others - who help ensure public safety every day. This is the eighth year that Woodmen of the World lodges have sponsored In Honor and Remembrance observances throughout the nation. The ceremony will be held at Red Hill UMC Cemetery and will include the presentation of a flag and flagpole.
