One killed in State 77 wreck - update

A man was killed in a wreck Friday morning when his van colided with a Blue Bell truck on State 77 just south of Interstate 10.

Witnesses said the van apparently went over the yelow line and collided with the truck. The van driver was killed and the truck driver was taken to Northwest Florida Community Hospital.

Frank Carpenter Jackson, 24, of Bonifay died Nov. 6, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Oct. 14, 1985, in Panama City.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marian Sexton; paternal grandfather, Frank Jackson and paternal grandmother, Ann Jackson.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Kiedis of Bonifay; his father, Andrew Jackson of Chipley; a brother, Curtis Jackson of Delray Beach; maternal grandfather, Tony Polino of Bonifay; aunts, Della Hertkorn, Anita Sorensen, Jamie Wiley, Gail Jackson, Kit Jackson; uncles, Danny Martinelli, Jon Jackson; numerous cousins.

Memorialization was by cremation with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay handling arrangements.
