Esto man charged with drug offense

On Tuesday Deputy Daniel Morris with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling the Noma area due to numerous complainants of illegal drug activity.  Morris stopped a Toyota pickup for no tag.  A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Ralph Edward Gammons, 33, from the Esto area.

A warrant check revealed that Gammons had an active warrant on him for child support.  Gammons was placed under arrest for the warrant and a search of his person revealed methamphetamine in his pants pocket along with a large amount of U.S. Currency. Gammons was transported to the Holmes County Jail and charged with the warrant and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Sheriff Tim Brown would like to thank the public for calling and reporting the illegal drug activity in their community.
