WC meth lab busted

On Saturday, July 19, 2008, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators, as part of an ongoing investigation, arrived at 1031 Nursery Road in the Orange Hill area of Washington County. The information was provided in a news release from Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers’ were given consent to search the property and upon entering the residence, a lab was found actively in production.  Further search of the property found methamphetamines, crushed pills, drug paraphernalia, listed chemicals and marijuana.

At the residence, investigators took William Oscar Foxworth, 44, into custody.  Foxworth was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of listed chemicals, manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.  Foxworth was transported to the Washington County Jail where he is being held on $57,000 bond.

“Our narcotics investigators did an excellent job working this case and because this lab has been taken out of production there will be a ripple effect all the way down the ladder in the illegal drug market” said Sheriff Bobby Haddock.
