CHIPLEY — Chipley High School JROTC competed well in our first drill meet of the year, which was held on Jan. 26.

The drill meet was held at Baker High School. The teams participated in five events, which were female color guard, male color guard, female unarmed squad, male unarmed squad, and male mix unarmed platoon.

Our teams competed superbly in our first practice drill meet. The female color guard led by C/MAJ Sabrina Goodman placed first and received challenge coins for being the best color guard that preformed; the male color guard was led by C/CPT Stephen Kauffman and placed third, the female unarmed squad and male mix platoon led by C/MAJ Regan Walls placed third.

Representing us well in the drill knock out our very own C/1SGT T.J. Fears placed first. We are also proud of our male mix unarmed platoon, having practiced platoon twice they preformed exceptionally. We thank the drill team for their hard work and dedication.

Honor, Strength, Commitment To Our Unit. Hooah!
