Florida FFA has announced the results of the 2016  Livestock Career Development Event (CDE) Preliminary.  The event was held  at the State Fair in Tampa. Ninety nine teams gathered to compete for the top spots and earn the rights to compete in the state contest in April at the University of Florida.

This year, the Vernon Middle School STEM students have been studying  a working trebuchet. The students then designed and built their own trebuchet out of robotics parts, the goal being to throw a marble as far as possible.
