School grades out
The annual school report card has been released by the Florida Department of Education, with the following results for schools in Holmes and Washington counties:
Holmes
Bonifay Middle remained as A school
Poplar Springs remained a B school
Bethlehem remnained a B school
Ponce de Leon High School remained a B school
Ponce de Leon Elementary went from a B last year to a C
Holmes County High School went from a B last year to a D
Washington
Chipley High went from a D to a C school
Kate M. Smith Elementary went from a C to an A school
Vernon High went from a C to a D school
Vernon Middle went from a C to a B school
Roulhac Middle went from a C to an A school
Vernon Elementary remained an A school

| Bonifay Elementary was not mentioned above. However, BES remained and A and met AYP, the only school in the county to do so. Good job BES. Keep up the hard work! |
