School grades out

The annual school report card has been released by the Florida Department of Education, with the following results for schools in Holmes and Washington counties:

Holmes

Bonifay Middle remained as A school

Poplar Springs remained a B school

Bethlehem remnained a B school

Ponce de Leon High School remained a B school

Ponce de Leon Elementary went from a B last year to a C

Holmes County High School went from a B last year to a D

 

Washington

Chipley High went from a D to a C school

Kate M. Smith Elementary went from a C to an A school

Vernon High went from a C to a D school

Vernon Middle went from a C to a B school

Roulhac Middle went from a C to an A school

Vernon Elementary remained an A school

It seems the paper is always leaving something out. Especially if it is about something in Bonifay and something good like making an A.

Bonifay Elementary was not mentioned above. However, BES remained and A and met AYP, the only school in the county to do so. Good job BES. Keep up the hard work!
