Flood watch continues for Florida Panhandle
PANAMA CITY — If you were hoping to catch a few rays, it’s not your day.
National Weather Service forecasters said it will be cloudy all day Thursday throughout the Florida Panhandle.
“The rain has pretty much ended — you might see some sprinkles — but no sun,” meteorologist Jim Bolden said.
Around 10:30 a.m., there was a small break in the clouds between Pensacola and the western edge of Panama City, but Bolden said the bright spot wouldn’t last long.
Another storm system is moving in immediately behind Wednesday night’s rain. The system is going to “spin through” the area on Thursday and Friday, Bolden said.
