Indoor marijuana op busted
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced Friday the execution of two search warrants on Panama City Beach and the discovery of a sophisticated indoor hydroponic marijuana grow.
At about 10:30 Friday morning, members of the BADGES Unit executed a search warrant at 21326 Sunset Avenue on Panama City Beach and found evidence there had been an indoor marijuana grow in the home. Arrested at this residence was Lisa Ann Gage, DOB 8/3/64, on a Charge of Possession of Marijuana less than 20 grams.
A second search warrant on 21130 Lakeview on Panama City Beach revealed what investigators believe to be the new location of the indoor setup. Narcotics officers discovered windows broken and the back door to the home kicked in and still open when they arrived. Inside the home, twenty five of the mature plants had been cut down and harvested. Left in the house were about ten additional plants not developed enough to harvest. It remains unclear at this time if someone made a forced entry and stole the mature plants.
The suspect in this case is Lisa Ann Gage’s ex-husband Jeffery Gage, DOB 8/9/62. Jeffery Gage currently lives in the Lakeview home but was not home at the time of the search warrant. Anyone with information on the location of Jeffery Gage is asked to call the Bay County Sheriff’s Office at 747-4700.
