If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there’s still time to experience Washington County’s tribute to local agriculture by visiting the Youth Fair going on now at the Washington County Agricultural Center, located at 1424 Jackson Avenue in Chipley.

The event will culminate today, beginning with Washington County Farm Bureau’s sausage biscuit sale, with all proceeds benefiting agriculture education projects such as Ag in the Classroom and AgVenture.

The livestock show begins at 9 a.m., awards for showmanship and more will be given at 5:30 p.m., and the auction begins at 6.

The decades-old tradition has served the community as a week long event to recognize local youth for their outstanding achievements in various agriculture disciplines, as well as to inspire others to participate in local agriculture events.
