Where's the parade? Vernon Wausau and Bonifay, of course.

The Wausau Christmas parade was held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and the Vernon Parade follows at 1 p.m. Tonight, the Bonifay Christmas parade will be held at 6 p.m.

All events are open to the public and Santa sightings are highly probable.

Tour of Homes

Sunday the 2012 Christmas Tour of Homes will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. in Chipley. Sponsored by the Chipley  Woman's Club, the tour begins at the club house on North 5th Street at 1 p.m. Tickets for the tour are $8 and are available at the club house.

Pancakes With Santa

The Chipley Kiwanis Club and the Kate Smith PTO are partnering from 5 to 7 p.m., on Dec 11, for Pancakes with Santa.  Pancake plates will cost $5 each with the proceeds benefiting the Kate Smith PTO and the Kiwanis programs to support the youth of Washington County. Kiwanis gives thousands of dollars annually in the forms of scholarships and sponsorships for the youth of Washington County.  Please come out and support this fundraiser.  Tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanis member or at the door the night of the event.

CHS Band to Present Holiday Concert

CHIPLEY — The Chipley High School Band Department will be presenting its annual concert of holiday music, at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 11. The concert will feature the CHS Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band performing the sounds of the Christmas season.  Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend this event at the CHS Performing Arts Auditorium on Brickyard Road.  For more information, contact the CHS Band Office at 638-6100, extension 525.
