UPDATE: Challender at large and dangerous

BONIFAY - One man has been captured and one is still at large after escaping from custody at the Holmes County Jail early this morning.

At approximately 12:40 a.m., this morning, Jeffery Morrill, 32, of Bonifay, and David Challender, 28, of Vernon, escaped from custody at the Holmes County Jail. Morrill was recently sentenced to 30 years in the Florida Department of Corrections. Challender was being housed for Bay County Sheriff’s Office while awaiting trial for murder, home invasion/robbery with a weapon, burglary of a dwelling, burglary with intent to commit theft and a state fugitive from Gwinnett County Ga.

Morrill was captured a short time later, around 3:30 a.m., but Challender is still at large and considered dangerous. Challender is about 5'7", weighs around 150 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes.
