CHIPLEY — Two Bonifay residents were arrested in connection with drug charges on Dec. 9, according to a Chipley Police Department report.
Chipley Police officers stopped a Ford Ranger on Highway 77 on Dec. 9 at 12:27 p.m. In the pickup were driver Ancil Bryant Jr., 26, and passenger Ashley Nicole Bade, 23, both of Bonifay.
A search of the vehicle found Bade to be in possession of a scheduled drug without a prescription, according to police. Bryant was found to be in possession of numerous pills that are consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine, according to police.
Police say Bryant admitted that he intended to sell the pills to an individual who he thought was going to manufacture meth.
Both Bryant and Bade were placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail, according to the report.
